About Patty Alexander
I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Georgia State University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor in Science in Psychology while attending University of Georgia and Georgia State University.
I am experienced in a variety of clinical settings including community based mental health, crisis counseling and domestic violence programs. I am also experienced in grief, loss, trauma, and attachment work. I also have many years of experience in adoption including birthparent, adoptee, and adoptive parent counseling. I work with children as young as six years old to older adults.
My counseling solutions have helped a wide variety of people overcome their individual issues in a creative and compasionate manner. My diverse and dynamic approach allows me to create new and effective collaboration with each individual in order to bring harmony. My practice includes Brainspotting, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and more.
